    Containment: The primary function of the case is to securely contain all internal components of the battery, including the cathode, anode, electrolyte, and separator.
    Electrical Connection: It serves as the positive terminal of the battery. When the battery is inserted into a device, the bottom of the case makes contact with the positive connection point.
    Sealing: Together with the sealing gasket, the case ensures that the electrolyte stays contained within the battery and prevents any leakage. This is vital for both the performance and safety of the battery.
    Protection: The case protects the delicate internal structures of the battery from physical damage and environmental factors such as moisture and dust.

3. Design Details
    Shape and Size: The CR2032 battery has a diameter of approximately 20 mm and a height of about 3.2 mm. The case must be precisely manufactured to these dimensions to ensure compatibility with devices designed to use this battery size.

    Top Cover and Insulation: The top cover, usually made of nickelplated steel, acts as the negative terminal. Between the top cover and the case, there's a sealing gasket, often made from nylon or polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), ensuring insulation and preventing leaks.
